At work

I rarely post at work anymore but it's slow here today so I went through my favorite Etsy sellers since I haven't done that in a while. These items remind me of Spring and how much I want it to come, without the rain of course.

If this dress is not Spring, I'm not sure what is.

You may ask why I think this drawing said Spring to me. I don't know. It just fits my mood at this moment.

Thimbly things

I've been a huge fan of Thimbly things for a while. Kristena now has a lovely Etsy shop and I want to decorate my empty walls with her photos and signs.

Daydreaming...

It's snowing outside. We are supposed to get up to a foot of snow. It will be fun driving home today.

I have a couple of trips planned in March and April! So excited to get away from the cold and gloomy city! I don't need luggage, but if I do, I certainly would hit that buy button for this beauty.

If you have a lot of time, patience and like reality TVs and juicy love stories, you should read this thread. I spent almost four hours yesterday going through 240 pages (don't judge, my husband is away!). Forget about the expensive handbags, this real love story is so captivated, happened during the course of almost a year and a half. I'm kinda glad that I found it so late that I didn't have to wait to know what happened next.

Help!

I'm so, so, so in love with this shrug by Holly Stalder but for the price, I want to be able to wear it more often than just to hang it in my closet. How would you dress down this TDF piece? Do you think that it's too much for work? Please let me know, I'm so ready to click that buy button. And the model's hair, too cute...!

Chic nerdy?

I have long had an obsession with plastic framed glasses, especially after this guy's face was all over the news

amd_clark_rockefeller

Ok...not so much, but this guy did it right!

I can't pull this look off though, I guess I'm not nerdy enough, or at all. Every time I get a new pair of prescribed glasses, I try and give up. However, I never tried the big round style on and for some reasons, I have a feeling they might work better than the traditional rectangle frame.

I found an Etsy seller that has vintage frames at very, very reasonable prices that even though I don't get to try them on, I'm thinking about getting a pair anyway.

The perfect bag

I normally carry half of my apartment with me to work daily so my work bag are mostly huge. The fact that I could easily fill up a large Longchamp Pilage is to show you I have a massive amount of junk and I don't know why. So I had this idea last week that I wanted a large leather bag as my work bag to replace my beloved Longchamp sometimes. I searched and bought a bag that was way over the budget and I didn't even love it that much, I just needed to buy something that day. Well, it's going back for sure after I spot all these absolutely-to-die-for bags on Etsy. Sorry Etsy, after three weeks, I did forget to check your inventory, bad bad me!

The bag that reminds me Etsy is one of the best places to shop!

Vintage love!

I have a couple of vintage-ish items, but nothing, nothing like these dresses.

I'm going to Heaven wearing this dress.

Ruffle Flower Handbag.

I love flower embellishment. If I could, I would pin flowers on everything that I own. I'm totally into shopping in my own closet these days, trying to wear things that I haven't in a while by adding a belt, brooch or flower pin.

Speaking of embellishment, how cute is this bag?? I don't think I own any bag that I could pin things on but I wish I did!

GetReadySetGO!

Dear Santa,

I've been good this year, please drop one of these beauties off at my doorstep.

Or please don't let anyone see them until I save enough to carry them home myself.

Thank you.

First day of Fall!

Wow,

I can't believe today is the first day of Fall! Where did the summer go? Did we even have one?

I love everything about this wedding that Emily of Once Wed did at Design*Sponge. So dreamy!

I really love her necklace and would love to find something similar. The original Etsy artist is sort of no longer making it and I have a feeling that it will be a tad over my budget. If you know of this design somewhere, please let me know!

Etsy love - HanamiGallery

I get excited every time I stumble on a new favorite Etsy store. I read their profiles to learn about their styles, click through their current stocks as well as their sold items. I also like to check out their store policies and ratings, and if they have personal blogs, I visit them too. Does that make me sound like a stalker?

When I found out that Sarah has her Etsy store, I got super excited because it's not everyday that I know someone personally on Etsy. I, of course, did my normal routine of reading, checking...and adding her on Facebook. I also wish that my fiance had shown me her work couple of months ago. (Sarah's fiance and mine are colleagues!)

My ability to fold anything stops at...paper plane so when I see these beautiful flowers, I love!!

"Tsumami Kanzashi - Is a Japanese art where hair decorations (kanzashi) are made by pinching (tsumami) pieces of silk to form a 3D shape. I refer to it as origami for the hair. Traditionally kanzashi are worn for weddings and
by entertainers (geisha)."

Bolero done perfectly!

I don't have much to say except that this bride looks amazing in her red bolero. She also has a lovely blog that I think I will read through to find where she got it from. I know a couple of Esty sellers that make the same style. Let's see if I get it right. =)

*FOUND IT!, I was right, just get comfirmation from another of my favorite blogs, Vintage Glam Wedding. Long story short, I found Sarah Neal site via Steep Street by Kelty. Then I went to visit Vintage Glam Wedding. , there it was, the answer to my doubt!

Bolero from Etsy Bonzie's shop. I think the seller should seriously consider asking to use this picture instead.

**CORRECTION**: Cori, the lovely bride stopped by and let me know that the bolero is actually from this Etsy seller for half the price instead: maryandangelika. Thank Cori!!

I like!

I've been drooling over the Rousseau necklace by Anthropologie but the price hurts.

Buy it here if you like.

I was about to attempt my little DIY until I see these lovely versions of it for a fraction of Anthro's price. I think I might just buy these instead to avoid going cross-eyed by the time I'm done with it (if ever!).

Kate Towers

There is a city that I must visit when I can travel. Take a guess my friends. No, it's not California, Chicago, not even Europe thou that is also in my top list. It's Portland, Oregon. I'm sure that you don't find it strange if you spend tons of time roaming through Etsy or the fashion blog world. I can easily name at least 10 of my favorite artists that are now based in this charming city.

Kate Towers is designer that I've discovered a while ago and now I'm dreaming to own one of her pieces. Luckily for me, she has an Etsy store that I can't wait to purchase from once the shop is replenished.

Everything about this piece is perfect! I especially love the puffy sleeves!
